July 24th, my little sister calls me at 11:00 at night in tears and with sheer panic in her voice. She had just finished nursing her one month old and laid him down for a few minutes. She then went to change his diaper and saw that he was limp and was blue in the face. My brother in law stuck his feet in ice cold water and that revived him. They called 911 and they rushed him to the E.R. On the way he stopped breathing twice. They then air lifted him to Children's hospital in Fresno. He had a long weekend and really fought for his life. I went up there last Thursday to visit. This is what he looked like, which looks much better than he did before. He has four IV's in this picture. Before I left they put another one in his head. He is also hooked up to a breathing machine. My sister and her husband were told not to talk to him and stimulate him so he can get better. It was really hard to see him and not touch him. I just kept thinking that babies need to be cuddled and held and my poor nephew can't be touched. I can't imagine what my sister is going through, being his mom. But he is getting better. Yesterday he was able to breathe on his own and they moved him out of the ICU today. Almost all of the fluid is out of his lungs and my sister got to hold him. Hopefully they can come home soon. It's really hard to see my little sister go though this. I almost wish that I could do it for her. She is way more tender and tends to get scared about things more that I do. I now have a better understanding of the Atonement and how our Savior was so willing to go through what he did for us because He loves us. I am very grateful for the power of prayer and fasting and that my little nephew is better.

That is scary! Do they know what happened to him? Why he stopped breathing? How is everything going with you guys? Everything here is good. Just waiting for this baby to come. Went to the doctor this last monday and there was no progress. Hopefully the next time will bring different news. Only 2 weeks left..hopefully.
