Weekend trip to Reno

The boys had a track meet in Tulare a few weeks to qualify for nationals. Peter qualified, Sam did not. So to help him qualify, we went to a track meet in Reno last weekend. We left town at 11:00 Friday morning and headed up the 99. once we headed East on the 80 right outside Sacramento, we ran into traffic! They were doing road work and everything was really backed up with all the holiday traffic.

The drive was really pretty, even if it took FOREVER!

We needed a pit stop! A snack, restrooms, and an historical monument was just what we needed!

We got into Reno around 7 that night and got checked into our hotel room then we went and had pizza for dinner then just chilled back in our room and then went to bed.
