I finally have a computer again! It's been a L-O-N-G three months without one! It's amazing to me how much I depend on the Internet and e-mail. I also use it as a creative outlet with blogging and writing. so now I have a whole summer's worth of blogging to update...here we go!

Peter did so well in track this season, he was able to compete in the Jr. Olympics! They were held in Sacramento this year, so we were able to go. We all love road trips and traveling so we were very excited!

Peter

We left on a Thursday morning, drove up to Sacramento, and checked into our hotel room. Tonight Peter was able to participate opening ceremonies
so after we got settled in our room we left and went to that.

Mark and me!

It was really fun to watch Peter march out with his team mates.

I can't remember these guys' names, but they are Olympic gold medalists.

After the opening ceremony, we were starving! We wanted to just to go through a drive thru and then eat in our room, but we could not find any! After
driving for a good 45 minutes, we finally found a KFC that was open!
Mark got the "Big ol' Jug" It was huge!

After dinner and showers, all tucked in for bed!

Day two-Friday

Today Peter ran all three events.

This is where the events took place.

Peter did well, but didn't qualify for finals. I'm glad that he was able to experience this and hopefully we can go again next year!

After Jr. Olympics, we took the kids to a park to run around.

We decided to take the kids to Old Town to look around and have dinner.

We stopped in the hat store where we tried on a few hats.

he looks so sad in this picture!

We stopped in the candy store and spent way too much for candy, but it was good!

I even got a little Disney fix!

We ate dinner at the Delta House. The fried shrimp was really yummy!

Waiting for our food!

After dinner we let the kids play on the trains. They were in heaven!

We drove by the Capitol Building
