Day 6- Des Moines.
Wednesday all three boys ran the 800 so we were at Drake Stadium bright and early. Adam ran first and had a great time!

Peter's race is next. This is the race we came all the way to Iowa for. Talk about nerve racking! Not for him, but for me! All during the race I was screaming and cheering like a mad woman!
The kid in front of Peter has won this race for the last three years...This is the start of the second lap, it was here that I was screaming so hard I got so dizzy I almost passed out! Peter ran his hardest, but could not get passed him. It was such a close race!
At the finish line. We are so proud of Peter, he gave it his all and PRed. Way to go Peter!
After the races, we went to explore downtown Des Moines.

We also went to eat at a place called Zombie Burger. The burgers were huge and so good we came back here later in the week!

We then headed back to the campground where Jason found a frog and the boys played some more.
It was a GREAT day!
